Today we’d like to introduce you to Decoraciones Globos.
Back in 2011, Decoraciones Globos LLC started in a local shopping mall located in Caracas, Venezuela, with a young Genesis Nieves (one of the company’s co-founders) wanting to invest in a small bounce houses business where customer could start renting her services. After a few months, she noticed that most customers would also ask her for decorations for their children’s birthday parties, and the idea of having the balloons along with decorations came up. Later, both her husband and sister, Francisco and Iravid, noticed the great success of this amazing idea and how much customers liked and enjoyed the wonderful and outstanding designs coming from the creativity of this unique team. They ended up quitting their personal jobs and joined Genesis in this journey which has brought joy to thousands of families worldwide.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not. Nothing worth fighting for comes easy. Decoraciones Globos’ beginnings show as a tiny walk-in balloon store where you could just place orders for hand-crafted balloon arrangements. After a few other pieces of training, advices, and experiences, the idea of creating a unique product, the ‘balloon bouquet’, came up as well. Social media advertisement was not an easy thing either. They had to go to many tv channels, celebrity events, and sometimes even offer their products for free in order to get the media know what they were like. Now, just imagine putting all that effort and having to start fresh in a different country. Well, it turns out that that’s what happened to Decoraciones Globos. Due to the hard political situation that Venezuela has been going through, they were forced to leave the country and ended up being the best thing it could have happened to the company because now it is well-known in many more places around the world.

Decoraciones Globos is well known for its outstanding decorations! They could be for graduations, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, business openings, corporate events, yachts, babies, engagements, open houses or any particular event that you would love to customize your way. They offer all types of decorations: from balloon falls, arches, walls, floating led balloons, to balloon bunches and bouquets, Decoraciones globos is proud to be entitled with a Guinness World Record of the ‘longest world balloon sentence in the world’ as well as various nominations to the Emmy Academy Awards based on its inspiring story behind the scenes “Mi Hermana.”
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Decoraciones Globos don’t deliver a product, they deliver joy and emotions to all customers through the balloons themselves. They have taken the balloon industry to a different level where nobody else had ever done it before. Their designs and balloon sculptures are considered pure art that has been little by little emerged within the past years. Taking care of the small details is a big key to their success.
