Every disaster around the world involves the need for clean water. After the deaths following Hurricane Katrina, it was time to put an end to water-borne diseases. Ansa is dedicated to providing solutions for water crises wherever they arise. The Hydrovolt line is designed to purify any water source anywhere in the world.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Working in disaster areas has been extremely challenging but it has allowed us to consistently develop better systems to operate in even more austere environments. Bottled water has been the mainstay of every water crisis, new technology is slowly transitioning as the standard response for situations where potable water is required. Political and conventional thinking have and continue to be a challenge as Ansa tries to introduce more effective solutions.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Ansa Technologies, Inc. – what should we know?
We set out to be the answer to the biggest problem during disasters and water crises. There has never been a compact, simple process to purify contaminated water sources easily. We set out to provide first responders and local governments with the ability to prove potable water for people during any crisis without the need to rely on delivery of water supplies.
We have been blessed with the opportunity to work with organizations and governments to provide water in combat arenas, Hurricane and earthquake relief, as well as water crises here in the US such as the Flint lead contamination.
We have been the only company providing emergency purification during the initial phases of several disasters over the last few years which sets us apart from other companies.
