Today we’d like to introduce you to Daniel Davidson.
Daniel, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I come from the world of entrepreneurship/venture capital where I founded companies in biotechnology and education. After selling my companies I moved from NYC to Miami Beach shortly after 9-11. I purchased a beautiful old Art Deco synagogue in the heart of South Beach and spent over 2 years restoring the property.
Shortly thereafter, major celebrities took notice and wanted to do everything from launching their new album(s) to photo shoots, to product announcements to weddings, etc. at the property. It was then that I realized we had something super special and I invested the additional time, money and energy into building a real enterprise.
We have now become an internationally recognized destination with a top-tier list of Fortune 500 clients. What is most exciting is that we are being asked by clients and prospective clients to expand our brand footprint to other major cities. We are in that exploratory phase now.
Has it been a smooth road?
Building a business from scratch is never an “easy” process, but if you love what you do, it is less work and more passion. I tell everybody who wants to build a business that “An overnight success takes about 10 years.”. I truly mean that. It takes a while to get things running just right. And despite the fact that I have founded multiple businesses, everyone is a learning experience. I am new to the hospitality industry, but I believe also that being an “outsider” gave me a fresh perspective. So, in this case, for example, we were able to include some really amazing high-tech components that provide a very impressive unique selling proposition.
We’d love to hear more about your business.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I personally believe that Miami Beach is one of the most amazing cities in the world. We are an international city, crossroads to the Americas, a quick trip to Europe and soon to be discovered in a VERY big way by Asia. Miami and Miami Beach are growing quickly – and all of the worlds wants to be here.
The incredible thing is that while we are truly international we are also governed by the secure, reproducible, thoughtful and fair U.S. legal system. So, the rule of U.S. law provides a great foundation upon which to build a business. There are countries that I would simply not feel comfortable starting a business in. The U.S. and more specifically, Miami Beach is just a fantastic place to launch a well-designed business.
