Dalis, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I experienced a true “tower” moment in my life.

I went from a 6 figure salary “financial guru” status to being incarcerated for 3 years at one of the toughest women’s prisons in the U.S. to fast forward today, Spiritually mentoring Artists, V.I.P.’s, and C.E.O.’s regaining my 6 figure salary, working fewer hours while helping superstars grow to their highest evolutionary consciousness. ​

When you are unhappy and all you do in your life is for others, you end up losing yourself. And when you lose yourself and continue to make choices that don’t serve you, the Universe takes control of you. One’s life path is very precious and the Universe will never let you discard it.

I am a woman who’s grown through pain and has triumphed by understanding that life’s valleys are lessons in enlightenment. It chooses you if you’re willing to release yourself into it, humbly accept the journey and embrace it in the truth of a new you who’s ready for a change.

My life is lived daily with passion, vision, and purpose. I embody a no-nonsense approach in my mentoring, my messages, and my teaching style. I’m outspoken, fiery, transparent, truthful, and wise. I am a living testament to the value in life’s valleys and the power of acts of faith.

My specialty is ‘artists’ of all types. Artist gives a lot of themselves in their work, losing privacy and sometimes losing themselves – all for the love of their art and personal expression. My purpose is to help them in their journey both professionally and personally.

When you give yourself fully to something or someone, it’s always necessary to have someone to get you back to what matters – your “true self.” Although life is a difficult journey of peaks and valleys, it can always be beautiful if you have someone to show you how.

On stage, you never know what you’re going to get as I rely solely on Spirit and my audiences’ energy. It’s all about delivering straight talk, consistent messages of love, forgiveness, and living your best life.

I am humbled daily by what life shows me personally and the beautiful souls that have chosen me to be their Spiritual Mentor and Life Coach.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road for any person that has experienced incarceration is tough but not impossible. I started my journey inside the gates as the Director of Education at Gadsden Correctional Facility in Tallahassee, FL, helping women obtain their G.E.D., teaching “keys to success”, a class that focused on the transition from prison to the outside world.

And once I was released, I wrote 3 books (Prison 101, Broken Open, and Within Lies All The Answers) all written in truth and humbly with the purpose of telling my personal story and in hopes that other women would too!

Once released, I’ve been a strong advocate of the Prison Reform community, speaking from the point of view of someone who was incarcerated and who understands how broken the system is. There is so much to be learned and told about the faces and lives that are affected and I’ll continue to do so.

Her personal prison journey helped her master the dynamic combination of unknown stops and experiences that the prison system presented, allowing her to be one of the top female entrepreneurs and prison consultants in the U.S. who help former inmates not only make great business entrepreneurs but collect a seven-figure salary.

Risk-taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I don’t consider truth a risk, but for society, this might be true. When I came out I decided to tell my story and all the clients I have and everyone I know personally knows my story.

Yes, for many they thought it was risky, knowing that Society does not embrace mistakes like mine, but I knew no other way. I believe “my risk” in telling my truths stood for more than the mistake of my past, a mugshot, or a number, and it has proven to have not only worked but I’ve been very successful doing it.

I have not only gained thousands of followers, respect, and very beautiful clients but the hope that many will follow my lead.
