Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Goodwin and Luis Moyano.
Crystal and Luis, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
We are entrepreneurs at heart and have always dreamed of owning our own business. While searching for a great opportunity we came across Big Joe’s Burgers & Wings and after careful consideration of our options, we decided this would be our first collaborative venture together. We loved that the restaurant had been around for 9 years and that it was owned and operated by husband and wife.
The location being in the middle of Boca Raton didn’t hurt either. 🙂 We then had a meeting to review the business and shortly after decided to take the leap and buy it! Best decision we ever made! We are committed to putting our hard work into the restaurant and will continue to provide a good product and to deliver a hot meal! Our goal is to carry on the restaurants legacy while building to improve our reach. Ultimately we want to provide good food fast!
Has it been a smooth road?
Our first challenge was to focus on building our online presence. Since taking over, our online reviews have increased and we are even ranked by Google as #1 Wings in Boca! We are building a brand new website and are looking to grow our likes and follows on FB & IG: @BigJoesBurgersBoca.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Big Joe’s Burgers story. Tell us more about the business.
We are currently a small mom and pop restaurant that puts love into our every meal. We weigh out and prepare our burger patties daily, we are also ranked, by Google, as number one in Boca for our Wings. Our bread is delivered fresh daily and all of our dressings/sauces for salads, wings and burgers are homemade. For the last couple of years Big Joe’s has only been serving Lunch, we are happy to announce that come May 2018 we will be opening for breakfast too.
Where do you see your industry going over the next 5-10 years? Any big shifts, changes, trends, etc?
We see expansion & growth over the next 5-10 years. It’s our vision to grow this location and build others throughout South Florida & further if possible. A trend that we practice daily in our lives and will implement even more in our restaurant(s) will be healthy choices.
