Bill is an experienced CEO, Entrepreneur, College Professor, Consultant, Expert Witness, Book and Magazine Author who at 74 years young is not retired but re-fired. He loves what he does and will continue as long as the Lord allows. With over 300 team members, four exclusive catering venues, hundreds of other preferred venues Bill and his team lead the way in South Florida with the highest online rankings over his competitors. Delighting his guests with passion, teamwork, innovation, and quality is what he does.

Reigning BIZBASH Caterer of the Year Since 2015.
Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year 2016.

Bill has been blessed beyond measure and at this season of his life, his passion is to bless others with his wisdom, his time and his talent.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
If it were easy everyone would do it. Growing a business for 40 years and counting is never easy. And when it becomes easy, it’s time retire. 

Catering is like a sports team playing all of their games on the fields and courts of their opponents… every event or wedding is an away game. Challenges include weather. Tents have collapsed, or blown down, I’ve waded through ankle-deep water serving my guests. We worked until Hurricane Andrew was just a few miles off the Florida coast in 1992. I believe in the good to great theory. Get the right people on your team, bus. get them into the right seat and then strive to be the best in the world.

Villa Woodbine is our exclusive venue, and since 1983 we’ve catered thousands of weddings for our couples. What sets us apart, is that we take customer focus to the highest level. It’s all about the people we serve. My team cares about each and every one of the guests at each and every one of our weddings and events.

We delight with innovation, passion, quality and teamwork, and we know that we’re only as good as the last event we catered. Our venue sourcing division is one of a kind with over 500 venues for our clients to choose from. 

My management team is the best… COO Bob Strom, Executive Vice President of Operations, Jerry Cortese, Corporate Executive Chef Dewey LoSasso, Executive Chef Mary Rohan, and Director of Sales, Ron Kelly. They oversee the work of countless managers and team members.

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Lifetime Achievement Award from Catersource in 2018. Top 30 Caterer Status in U. S. 2019. And there are many more to come since I’m not retired at 74 years young, I’m re-fired.
