Today we’d like to introduce you to Anna Cabo.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Anna. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I was living in Texas when I decided to embrace my natural curls because I could not find a stylist in the area to blow dry my hair. I came across a curly product line, somewhat started becoming friendly with the creator (@bouncecurl) when she posted that she needed suggestions on skincare to help with her breakouts. I took a shot in the dark and emailed her about sending her a batch of my homemade products.
I never expected her to accept, nor did I had any intention other than helping her behind my offer. She did accept and said, “if this work for me, we will create it and sell it,” I thought she was kidding, but a week later she was in Texas meeting me and working out a way to help me create a product. That was two years ago, I moved back to Florida, and we continue our plans. Now we have launched our first product and working on two more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Moving back to Florida left me very tight financially, causing delays. Trying to learn all the in an outs of creating a company and setting up a website from scratch. I’ve had to learn so many things on my own. All the changes with trying to adjust back to our life in Florida and dealing with multiple autoimmune problems that would affect me physically and emotionally.
A’mour360 – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I first gain a following because of my hair on IG and sudden connection with Bounce curl. Now I am everything for my brand, including working hand in hand with the chemist to create my products. I run every aspect including social media etc., while also working as the manager distribution for Bounce curl.
I am most proud of my perseverance, regardless of how bleak things looked last year, I continue to with the plans on launching the skincare line and not doing it was never an option. I am also proud to see how much I have grown professionally and most of all creating a product that works so well for all skin care type.
I never wanted to just create a product for the revenue aspect of it, I wanted the integrity of knowing that my customer’s money was being well invested.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
As a wife, mother, and entrepreneur, success comes in different shapes. First in my family’s well emotional being, my core strength. The relationship of those around me, the quality of it, the satisfaction of a job well done and with integrity.
Knowing I have given my best in most everything and when possible. The joy of learning something new every day to grow my business or empower someone else.
