Today we’d like to introduce you to Alfio Lora.
Alfio, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Photography has been a hobby of mine for over 30 years, even though I was working in another totally different industry, life has many surprises, and sure enough, without me looking for it, people starting requesting me as a photographer for their events, and realtors, for their listings. Appreciating my work is the highest form of flattery.
My father is an architect, so I believe the eye for architectural angles is in me, turns out that even though I specialize in various types of photography, Real Estate, architectural and interior photography is a type of photography I get a lot of requests for. I have the blessing of providing my services to some of the top brokers in the Miami area, which gives me the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful properties in the city.
As an event photographer, I do have to be thankful to have had the opportunity to photograph corporate and entertainment events for some of the most recognized companies in the US and the world, such as Boeing, Paychex, amongst others.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I relocated to Miami after living overseas for many years, so It was challenging to start from zero. Constant effort and dedication have been paying off as more and more people learn about myself and my services.

Alfio Lora Images Corp. specializes in Architectural/Real Estate/Event, and Lifestyle photography. Most of the services we provide is in the area of Real Estate, but I do enjoy to the fullest all of it, I do enjoy a lot of event photography, and would love to get involved more in that area of photography.
What were you like growing up?
I have always been very outgoing and sociable, I remember when I was 16, I got my first camera, back in the film days, I don’t know how it came about, but I always felt drawn to photography. Since I love traveling, photography became a great add on to make my traveling even more exciting.
