Today we’d like to introduce you to Aldhair Ramirez.
Aldhair, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was always an entrepreneurial kid. A few years ago I started making apparel under the name ACC Miami. Eventually, I wanted to create a brand and company that represented the lifestyle that I and so many others strive for. Finessing is a call to action for people to “finesse” their way through life (make moves and make the best of every situation). By using a world-famous font, we’re also able to show the life of leisure that’s waiting for the people who manage to finesse successfully.
The brand took off over time but one notable athlete — Odell Beckham Jr. in particular — was seen wearing it, the growth was rapid.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Entrepreneurship is never a smooth road. There have been times when sales weren’t where I needed them to be or when my ability to produce the hats in a timely fashion wasn’t fully there. The struggle is keeping up with demand when you’re pretty much on your own. People glamorize the lifestyle but don’t know how many long nights and missed events that come along with running your own business.

We are a Miami-based lifestyle apparel company. We make a popular “Finessing” script cap that comes in various shades and styles. I’m proud that people choose to wear my brand as a means to let people know they are working hard towards their goals.
What were you like growing up?
I have always been someone who planned for the future, who was motivated to own a business and take care of my family and loved ones. I grew up on Kanye and rap music in general. I would flip candy bars at school. Anything to make a buck.
