Abby has also been featured in Allure magazine as the best Balayage Expert for the Directory of Beauty. Originally from South-Eastern Europe and educated all around the world, it didn’t take long for Haliti to be recognized for her signature Power Highlights technique and become one of the most sought after colorists among New York City.
Abby Haliti’s vision is centered around enhancing beautiful hair while simultaneously following a healthy approach. Haliti’s warm personality and unique hair-care philosophy have gained her a devoted following. The “less is more” philosophy is heavily incorporated into Abby’s craft. Through the usage of organic techniques and treatments, Abby strives to uplift and transform hair without causing any lasting damage. As quoted by Abby, “My goal is not only to make sure that my clients are on the forefront of fashion but more importantly, to achieve this without jeopardizing the health of their hair.”
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been a challenge always because hair coloring is such instant gratification; therefore, trend always changes and people love to change color. As a color specialist, I always have to tell the truth that chemicals aren’t easy on hair; therefore, I always aim for more natural healthy approach when it comes to highlighting hair. For example, people love Olivia Palermo Hair but they don’t understand that she’s been my very long client and with a proper technique, I always save the integrity of the hair.

My mission is always to bring Modern hair color with a modern approach. We strictly use French highlighting technique “Balayage,” and it’s costume painted in each strand. We take tome to analyze the hair the shapes the color of the skin etc. We aim to bring natural hair and absolute no FOIL.
The regrowth is seamless and lasts very long. Our motto is “Less is more,” and Abby’s keen eye for color is beyond and above. We customize a color we don’t necessary listens to clients. We advise clients what’s the best look for her without looking artificially dyed.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I just rebranded my name. When I first started my own business, I did too many services; therefore one day, I realized people where coming from all over just for color and mostly color correction. Now we are Color focused and we have clients do hair trims but nothing more.
The menu is so simple the language of the hair color must change. Example: Half a head of highlights is “Face contour,” and that’s the inspiration when I first did Oliva Palermo as seen in Vogue.
