I started my business when I was 18, at $300. I sell virgin hair and wigs. I always had a passion to be in the industry. Now at 21, I’m full fledge in!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has NOT been a smooth road. Most days, I want to give up but I’m not a quitter. When I first started, I got 2 bad reviews that stuck with me forever. It made me improve my products and it made me focus! I improved my products and sold more! & when that happened, I didn’t sell any hair until I knew I could say I had the best hair out. My advice would be to never take the easy route and to never give up.

I sell hair and wigs! I’m known as “The Wig Dealer” for my custom wigs. I’m most proud when I have returning customers. I love all my customers, but when they continue to shop with you, it means you’re doing great as a business owner. What sets me apart from others is my hustle and my ambition. I’ve always been a hustler and forever will be that go-getter!
What advice would you give to someone at the start of her career?
Don’t ever do something just for the money. Do what makes you happy and in return, you’ll make money! Customers can see if an owner is just throwing something at them or when they really love what they do.
