Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Monson.
Hi Olga, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’m originally from Ukraine, and ever since I was a child, I’ve been fascinated by the way people live. I remember being curious about the interiors of people’s homes—always trying to peek inside to see how they lived and how their spaces were designed.
Although I didn’t pursue that passion right away, I earned my bachelor’s degree in finance and banking and worked for a while as a day trader for a private hedge fund. After moving to the U.S., I found myself drawn to real estate—especially in Miami. The energy of the city captivated me, and I realized that my finance background was a valuable asset when it came to negotiating deals and guiding buyers and sellers.
Over time, my interest shifted toward development, which led me to pursue a master’s degree in real estate development. For the past 10 years, I’ve worked closely with leading developers, and I’m currently the Director of Sales at St. Regis Residences Miami. It’s been an exciting journey that has allowed me to blend my passions for finance, design, and helping people find or create their dream spaces.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the first challenges I faced was the language barrier. Miami is a bilingual city where Spanish is widely spoken, so I had to quickly adapt and find my own niche in the market.
Another challenge has been balancing my professional ambitions with my personal life. Being a woman, a wife, and a mother means constantly juggling responsibilities and making tough choices about where to focus my time and energy. There have been moments where I had to slow down or shift priorities, but those experiences have also made me more resilient and intentional in everything I do.

I am my own brand—Olga Monson is the brand. Over the years, I’ve worked hard to build and nurture meaningful relationships with both clients and the broker community. My focus has always been on providing value through education—whether it’s about the developments I represent or the ever-evolving city of Miami that I’m so proud to call home.
Currently, I am Director of Sales for St. Regis Residences Miami—one of the most iconic and unique developments in the city. Located on 3.5 acres in the heart of Brickell, the project offers unobstructed water views, a private marina, and the legendary St. Regis hospitality brand, backed by over a century of excellence.
I specialize in luxury development sales, and I’m known for my deep market knowledge, honest guidance, and ability to connect the right buyers with the right opportunities. What I’m most proud of is being a trusted resource in this competitive market—and helping shape the future of luxury living in Miami. I hope one day to add to Miami skyline with a project of my own.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is that it’s never too late to learn. Education is everything. I truly believe that if you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room. We live in a world that’s constantly evolving, and the ability to adapt and grow is essential.
Another key lesson is to never underestimate—or overestimate—yourself. Confidence is important, but so is humility. Celebrate your accomplishments, but always set the bar a little higher. That’s how you keep moving forward.
