Today, we’d like to introduce you to Danielle Andrews.
Hi Danielle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. Before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I never imagined that I would be a business owner or a real estate professional.
Growing up, I wasn’t familiar with either profession. I always believed I would be an educator and move up the ranks within the education sector. While I did start out as a Teacher and got several education-related graduate degrees, I began to realize that my passion was not in the classroom.
Real estate started out as a secondary source of income during the summer months. However, the more I got involved in real estate, the more I discovered my purpose. Four years after getting my real estate license, I transitioned into the industry full-time and really began to soar.
I used my knowledge from the classroom to help spread education in real estate. By showing others that it is possible to build wealth through real estate, buying your first home is achievable, and it does not take perfect credit and a 20% down payment to buy a house, my business began to soar.
As a natural learner, I sought to obtain my Broker’s License. That higher level of licensing provided me with more in-depth knowledge of the industry. Continuing on in real estate, I realized that I desired to branch out on my own and start my own brokerage. God led me from a random Google search to the Realty ONE Group brand, where I have worked to grow our office over the last two years.
In growing that office, I sought to obtain my Georgia Broker’s License and Alabama Broker’s License to help reach more agents. I love helping agents achieve their goals in real estate and helping them grow.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Naturally, no. Nothing worth having is ever easy. The last few years in real estate have been interesting from rising interest rates, low inventory, bidding wars, and everyone thinking they’re an expert in the real estate market, it’s always a challenge. Furthermore, there are many agents concerned about the state of industry with all of the lawsuits surrounding commission and how agents get paid.
Every industry and business faces threats. I choose not to get bogged down by those things and focus on continuing to thrive. My faith has been a driving factor in my success. I am also genuinely passionate about what I do, which continues to fuel my growth and attract others.
