My journey began with a love for storytelling and a camera in hand. From capturing small, intimate moments to leading major shoots, I’ve always been drawn to the beauty of genuine connections and emotions. I started freelance photography over a decade ago, moving around the U.S. to work with clients from all walks of life. Over time, this passion led me to establish FBM Studios, where I could focus more on wedding and event photography and put my personal touch on every project.
Relocating to South Florida in 2024 was a bold step to grow my business further. Here, I found an incredible opportunity to immerse myself in a vibrant, diverse community and connect with clients who value the same authenticity and creativity I bring to my work. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come and excited to see where this next chapter takes me as I work to establish FBM Studios as the go-to for capturing life’s biggest moments here in South Florida.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been smooth – but I think that’s part of what makes the journey worthwhile. One of the biggest challenges has been building a business from scratch in a new city. Moving to South Florida to grow FBM Studios was a big leap, and while it’s been incredibly rewarding, it’s also meant learning a new market and finding ways to stand out in a highly competitive industry.
Another struggle has been balancing the demands of photography with the business side. It’s easy to get lost in the creative process, but there’s also marketing, networking, and running day-to-day operations that require constant attention. And, of course, as an empty nester, finding my way both personally and professionally has been a unique journey.
But each challenge has pushed me to adapt, improve, and keep going – because at the end of the day, nothing beats seeing clients thrilled with the moments we’ve captured. It’s been a winding road, but one filled with growth, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose.

At FBM Studios, I specialize in wedding and event photography, and I pour my heart into every project. I aim to capture moments that aren’t just beautiful but genuinely meaningful – those little glances, laughs, and heartfelt expressions that make each wedding unique. I’m known for my ability to blend artistry with a personal touch, working closely with couples to understand their vision and make it a reality.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the trust I’ve built with my clients. Many of them come back to me for different milestones, or they send referrals my way because they know I’ll treat each moment with the care it deserves. To me, that trust speaks volumes. I believe what sets me apart is my focus on storytelling – every image isn’t just a photo but a memory frozen in time, a piece of their journey. I take the time to make sure clients feel comfortable and seen, so they’re able to relax and fully enjoy the experience, knowing I’ll capture it all.
I’m especially proud of establishing FBM Studios here in South Florida and working towards making it a one-stop shop for wedding services. I want clients to feel they can count on me, not just for photos but for an experience that’s personal, professional, and unforgettable.

Risk is more than just chance-taking; it’s betting on yourself. With each big decision, I’m fueled by the belief that I can make it work. This experience taught me that taking bold, calculated risks can open doors to growth and new opportunities, even if they come with a bit of fear. I believe that risks aligned with my goals and values push me forward and help me build something unique – and that’s been essential to shaping who I am and where FBM Studios stands today.
