Hidden Gems: Meet Gerald Uribe of Uribe Car Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Gerald Uribe.

Hi Gerald, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I studied in South Florida and graduated from auto mechanic school in 2008 while also working as an apprentice in auto repairs shops. Since then, I have always offered my services as a mobile auto repair technician to people in need of services.
I’m usually recommend by word of mouth referals since I offer a personalized service.
Finally, I decided to open Uribe Car Services towards the end of 2024 to create a more sustainable, organized way to operate mobile mechanic services.
My team and I offer a broad amount of mechanical work for vehicles in Miami-Dade and Broward County from oil changes, transmission repairs, body work and everything in between.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
There have always been opportunities to grow as a business and with that many challenges like how to get affordable prices for customers on car parts and a more precise timeframe to work on their vehicles.
Being a one-man-team was exhausting and demanding but also rewarding in the sense that I was able to create bonds of trust among my clients and customers.
Now I have experienced employees that repair cars and do services, in addition to me.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are a mobile auto mechanic repair and maintenance business that provide services to all Miami- Dade and Broward County.
We specialize in all automotive services from all years, makes and models.
What sets us apart from other mechanics is that we come to you to repair your vehicle.
We always aim yo find the best solution for your vehicle’s needs around your available time.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
To always listen at customers needs in regards to their vehicles, to give them options on how to target those needs, and to let them know the reason why those needs are happening and why they are necesary to take care of them for the future of their vehicle’s performance.
