Hi Zoe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
When the real estate market crashed in 2008, I faced a significant financial setback like many others in the mortgage, developing, and real estate market. However, my innate resourcefulness and willingness to embrace new challenges became the catalyst for a remarkable journey. Unafraid of starting something new or taking risks, I found excitement in conquering the fear associated with exploring uncharted territories.

Amidst the demands imposed by my work and life schedule, I revisited some of the goals I had left behind. Recognizing a perfect moment for change, I decided to venture into the realms of marketing and advertising, skills I had honed while promoting my own companies. This decision marked the birth of ZAG Creates, a full-service marketing and production company.

The journey from the 2008 financial avalanche to the establishment and growth of ZAG Creates is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and a passion for conquering new challenges in the ever-evolving marketing and advertising landscape.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey hasn’t been without its challenges, as the landscape of the marketing and advertising industry constantly evolves. Over the past 10 years, I’ve witnessed significant changes in technology, particularly with the emergence of social media and the evolution of the internet. This shift marked a departure from traditional media towards the dynamic realm of social platforms.

Adapting to these changes posed its own set of challenges. The industry demanded a pivot, and we embraced social media during its early stages. Navigating through technological advancements and incorporating new ideas into our strategies required flexibility and a willingness to improve. While making these adjustments can be difficult, we firmly believe it’s the only way to stay current and foster growth as a company.

Throughout this period, the commitment to continuous improvement, learning from experiences, and adapting to industry shifts has been instrumental in developing a resilient mindset to succeed.
