Daily Inspiration: Meet Kristina Michelle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Michelle.

Hi Kristina, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Sharing my story and listening to other stories is what I enjoy most about planning and managing weddings. 20 years ago I began working as an assistant which allowed me to sharpen my organization & communication skills. When the opportunity to lead and manage events came along I jumped right at it and knew I found my calling. Life doesn’t always go as we plan and I continued to work primarily as an assistant for many years to follow and would manage events as needed. I had the opportunity to be a part of philanthropic event management and that’s where my passion and purpose grew strong during this period. Giving back to our community is always on the forefront of my ideas and inspiration. My mentor in the events industry was in need of a day of wedding planner for her daughter’s wedding and I jumped at the opportunity to learn something new and work alongside her. Since then I’ve been planning and working alongside couples to keep them organized throughout the process of wedding planning.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth roads only last for a short period of time. There will come a time where the road is in need of repair and is difficult to travel on. During these times, staying focused on your passion that lives inside of you is key to making it to your next destination. Even if you have lost your map, stay true to your gut feeling and you will make it through the difficult roads and enjoy every minute of the smooth ride!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Giving back to others is and will always be my main focus in my personal and professional life. During wedding planning I like to offer my couples the opportunity to share their love with those in need in their community by incorporating small details that give back to others such as donating their wedding florals to a local hospice organization. What sets us apart from others is that we specialize in the art of wedding organization. I’m sure you’re probably thinking “ Kristina, what does that mean?”. What that means is we focus on organization and using tools and ways of working that are customized to each couple. One of the moments when I am most proud is when I see my team kicking ass during a wedding (sorry am I allowed to say ass??). Watching your team thrive and grow is the ultimate proud moment!

How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
Wedding vendors, planners and philanthropic organizations can join our venue crawls to see wedding venues within South Florida and get to know each other! During 2026 I am coordinating a series of “Venue Crawls” which will begin with the Homestead/Redlands area. Please contact me at [email protected] if you are interested in participating as a venue location or to join the venue crawl, space is limited!
