CHZN is a Texas hip-hop artist whose music reflects the mindset of perseverance, faith, and relentless ambition. The project stands as a statement for anyone who has ever been underestimated—transforming the underdog narrative into a movement of resilience, ambition, and belief.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not at all. I’ve been through every emotion. I don’t think any road leading to where you want to be in life won’t have any trials and tribulations. The biggest challenge for me was getting other people to believe in my vision and see what I see. Once you get past that to where people believe in you the sky is the limit.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a music artist. I am known for music. I started off selling clothes and then I wanted to express myself more in the music. My latest album “The UnderDog” is what I am most proud of to this day. What set me apart from others is me doing it my way and not the way most people go. As far as my journey I don’t glorify the streets but more positive, motivational and get money music.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson is that everybody is not going to like you or what you’re doing but to only focus on the people that love you. Never give the hate attention.
