Conversations with Jose Espinal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Espinal.

Hi Jose, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NYC and enjoyed cars since I was a kid. Actually, my older brother and I would draw and talk about cars all the time as kids. After graduating high school, we joined the Marine Corps together. When we got stationed together in North Carolina, I got my 1st car, it was an Eagle Talon. My brother had a Mitsubishi Eclipse. We decided to style them the same and name it “Dynamic Speed”. This was in 1999. Fast forward to 2021 and we are still doing the same thing, but with McLaren’s now. Before that, it was a Lamborghini Huracan and BMW i8. Both wide bodied and customized. My vision with Dynamic Speed is to share amazing cars to people around the world and open conversations about them. This Pandemic has sheltered people in their homes and communities without the ability to travel as often as they would like to see amazing cars. I hope that with just one video, people can get the enjoyment of seeing their favorite supercars around the South Florida area.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing is ever smooth, but the best you can do is learn to overcome failures and continue to try and try again.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I work on cars and customize them. I have built turbo cars, supercharged cars, etc. My passion is to bring something new to the scene all the time. Alongside my brother, we like to keep people guessing on “what’s next” for Dynamic Speed.

What’s next?
Opening up a large shop that will be a one stop shop for all customizations for supercars. The goal is to be one of the greatest names in the industry.
