Today we’d like to introduce you to Merjem Bajrami Duriqi.
Merjem, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
As early as a child, I started to make my own decisions in regard to what to wear and how to look. Since then, I had a passion for fashion and since then I never wore the same clothes in consecutive days. When I grew up, I started traveling and saw the world with a different eye. Then, randomly, I started taking pictures of my outfits every day and shared them on social media. In 2010, I had invitations to be a model but that wasn’t something I was passionate about, so I followed my passion and my dream of becoming a fashion icon. Because I had many pictures taken from different outfits, in 2012, I decided to create a blog. Creating the blog has helped me work with many brands around the world as well as make friends.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was very challenging and still is at times because I have to do everything myself, but it’s something I enjoy doing it. I love photography, fashion, and everything associated with fashion. In the beginning, while I was studying, I took pictures whenever possible which helped me later use those pictures when I started my blog. To be an influencer, it takes many hours every day to do photo shooting, editing, writing, posting and managing the blog. Now that I have been doing this for quite some time, I have learned new skills and built a system with some automated tasks, which helps me spend more time with my family and friends. Usually, I schedule what to post, then in the afternoons, I reply to emails and plan what to write on the blog. Be yourself and do what you love, then you always will be successful.

Memissgirl is a professional blog specialized in fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle with a global audience. For the past eight years, I worked with more than a thousand brands around the world. We collaborate in promoting their brands, products, and services by helping them grow their audience as well as grow sales through the discount codes shared with my followers. The blog has given me the opportunity to be part of many different campaigns and charity programs for which I am grateful. Also, I have collaborated with multiple designers for different events and have attended Fashion Shows in New York and continue doing so. My blog is unique in its way because the style is simple and original, and I try to keep it professional where everyone regardless of their location can find something inspiring and easy to apply.
