Hi Jennifer, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey in the beauty industry started in the most simple way, doing hair and makeup for my friends and family. Whether it was for homecoming, prom, or special events, I was always the one everyone came to. I didn’t realize it at the time, but those small moments were planting the seeds for something much bigger. As time went on, my passion only grew stronger. What once felt like a hobby began to feel like a calling. I loved not just the artistry, but the confidence it gave others—the way someone could light up just by seeing themselves differently. There was a point in my life when I needed that extra push to truly believe in myself. I had someone who saw my potential even before I fully did. He encouraged me, reminded me of my talent, and pushed me to take my gift seriously. That belief changed everything (I am now happily married to this person!) From there, I began to invest in myself, sharpen my skills, and step into my purposes with confidence. What started as doing family & friends hair and makeup has now grown into a business that I’m incredibly proud of. Watching it evolve, expand, and impact others has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
And this is just the beginning.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Becoming a beauty business owner has been a beautiful, but often lonely journey. No one taught me how to run a business. I had to figure it all out on my own. Learning how to manage inventory, source quality products, and keep track of supplies that never seemed to last. And then there was marketing, no one handed me a guide on how to promote myself, build a brand, or connect with clients beyond word of mouth. I had to invest time, money, and countless late nights in services, courses, and trial and error. But every struggle taught me something new, and slowly, I built not just a business but a dream that keeps growing, one step at a time.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a beauty business owner dedicated to enhancing natural beauty while pouring confidence into every client I touch. I specialize in lash extensions, lash lifts, henna brows, brow lamination, makeup, facials, and hair styling services. Everything I do is rooted in love, passion, and my faith. God is at the center of my journey, and I truly believe this calling was placed on my heart for a purpose.
I’m most proud of building my business from the ground up with vision, resilience, and discipline. I invested in myself, stayed consistent, and turned my passion into a thriving brand.
What sets me apart is my energy, intention, and attention to detail. I don’t just offer services I create an elevated, luxury experience where every client feels seen, valued, and empowered.
