Hi Belinda, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started when I was 16. When I was on tour with the high school choir, I was scouted by Polydor Records and was invited to audition at their recording studio. I was signed on the spot. That was a while ago, but my musical influence still remains in Asia. Life took a little turn, I then switched focus on building various businesses, and I’m glad that I did. Now that the foundation of my businesses is on solid ground and growing, it is time to resume my creative endeavors!
About five years ago, I resumed writing songs and lyrics, composed and arranged the instruments and released the first album in the USA with Epic Sonic Music. Along the resurrected musical journey, I’ve learned many important things, refining my craft with each trial and error, each failure and success, developing and gradually growing into a full-blown music/film producer.
As of August 2025, I have produced 2 movies, written over 300 hundred original compositions that is represented by BMI. My repertoire consists of 2 original movie soundtracks and 2 instrumental albums licensed to Peloton Bikes, Equinox SoulCycle, Within VR. One of the instrumental tracks ‘Drive V2’ was selected by Cadillac Blackwing Race Team as their anthem for the Championship run. Single ‘Worthy’ reached No. 1 on ‘Louder Than the Music’ Chart, ‘If This Is Love’ reached No. 1 on BMS Radio Chart in Chicago.
Most recent release, ‘Set Me Free’ made a debut on Mediabase Activator Chart/Billboard Database within 2 weeks of its release, the single climbed to No. 18 on NMW Top 40 and NMW Hot 100 Charts. To date, ‘Set Me Free’ and ‘Set Me Free: The Short Film’ have won 2 music awards, 6 honors & nominations and garnered 4 ‘Official Selection’ status with film festivals around the world.
‘Set Me Free’ and ‘Set Me Free: The Short Film’ as well as the EDM Remix ‘Beautiful Promises’ are contending GRAMMY® nominations.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a very prolific journey where I accomplished everything that I wished for. One big advantage that I have, is that the production of my releases is well funded.
I have learned that even the best songs ever written, without the proper promotional budget, it is exceedingly difficult to reach its fullest potential. Even for the best and most talented singer, if there is insufficient budget to promote the artist, it is rather hard to stand out from this very crowded space in music.
When I was with Polydor Records, I signed off all my copyrights in exchange for a hefty budget, with a big label backing, everything was easy and worry free. Today, I choose to retain 100% of my copyrights and produce my own records, I have to be cautious on how to allocate the budget to achieve maximum results, it has been a valuable experience.
I have also learned to embrace my team members’ input. I listen to their feedback and accept their recommendations. Learning to delegate is one of the best decisions I’ve made.

I’m 100% self-made serial entrepreneur, CEO and Founder of Belaire Private Capital, a direct private lender empowering real estate investors and developers, Visage Skincare, an anti-aging skincare brand that utilizes high potency botanical formulas to prolong youthfulness, and Epic Sonic Music & Films, a media company that is approved and registered with the Recording Academy/GRAMMY®
When I’m not taking care of business, on the creative side I’m also a charted singer/songwriter and music/film producer.
I’m known in the private capital arena for our real estate funding capacity and also known as singer/songwriter in the electronic pop space.
The most prized release is definitely ‘Set Me Free’ as it is my testimony for those who need uplifting encouragement. Unlike most artists who chase tours and live shows, my *ultimate goal* is to sync music for TV, films and video games. Nothing makes me prouder and happier than to watch a movie on the silver screen with my music score!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I love the diversity of Miami, over the past decades we have developed our very own culture, the beautiful skyscrapers contribute to the mesmerizing skyline in multicolor neon, breathtaking!
The trendy restaurants, entertainment spots as well as local dives uniquely and seamlessly blend in all together to create Miami, the way it stands today is no short of comparison to Manhattan. It has become a true cosmopolitan city and financial hub.
As in all big cities, the traffic can get pretty congested. I dread traffic, so I choose to commute off rush hours. Something needs to be done to I95 to avoid so many accidents every day.
