Art & Life with Olga Kulakova

Today we’d like to introduce you to Olga Kulakova.

Olga, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I can say with absolute certainty, my whole life is associated with creativity. Always. I started studying at the art studio from the age of 5, when I was teenager, I was engaged in painting on silk, Later I was educated as a drawing teacher, and later a designer of interiors and an architect. I was engaged in design and architecture for about 10 years, before moving to Miami. I always loved photography, and finally here in Miami, I work professionally as a photographer.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I cannot say unequivocally that inspires me. Every day I see something, and I want to grab a camera and rather capture it. These are my children, these are works of art, people on the street, these are just the subjects I think about and I have an idea of how beautifully they can be photographed. Nature, of course the beauty around is very inspiring to the creativity. The work of the other photographer also moves me forward. I like to create my own photography projects, I have so many ideas. And same time I am very happy work with my clients. I really like food photography and commercial photography. But I don’t want to be concentrated on lust those types of photography. My vision of art is wider.

In your view, what is the biggest issue artists have to deal with?
I believe it is marketing. You cannot be just an artist, you have to be a pro in marketing field and help people to find your work.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
Most of my work you can see in my blog and on my website of course.
