Art & Life with La’Queasha Beard

Today we’d like to introduce you to La’Queasha Beard.

La’Queasha, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I started off as a communications major in college and ended up getting my BA in it. During undergrad, I started motivational speaking to young people and needed flyers and branding needed a lot more often than I anticipated. Being in college, I didn’t have many funds available for the needed marketing, so I taught myself. I started off doing graphics for myself, but then people wanted to pay me to do their marketing as well. I thought I could monetize off of it and began doing so. Later, people wanted to know how they could learn what I do, so I started becoming sort of a coach and have been doing so ever since.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I created brands. Being in church and ministry, its important to appeal to your audience, whether its children, baby boomers, etc. I wanted to see those that are in ministry and business, like myself, succeed, so I started teaching and creating logos and concise/cohesive marketing material for people. My artwork is personal to me. I put my all into the work that I do, so much so, that my clients have come back and told me, “I can tell you put your heart into MY brand.”

People just want to work with others that care just as much about their brand/image as they do.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
