Today we’d like to introduce you to Daisy Cottle.
Daisy, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I fell in love with photography after seeing my dad with his camera and being amazed at some of the memories he captured where I grew up in England and Wales. I then went on to art college to learn more about this fascinating subject and left with my degree. I keep learning, each day. I am fascinated with time and how we can capture an exact moment to hold forever in our hands. I love capturing images of children, bridal couples and special moments in life. I love looking back at old images, time periods gone by and really seeing what life was about.
Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I provide a luxury portrait experience. I want clients to know that we adore capturing their moments, and we help each step of the way, from posing to lighting, from wardrobe assistance to editing. We create a custom experience unique to each client, to capture what’s important to them and at the end of the event, we walk away as great friends! I want our clients to have heirloom images that they are proud of, that will be looked at by their family for generations to come.
How do you think about success, as an artist, and what do quality do you feel is most helpful?
Success to me is knowing my clients adore their images, and finally, gaining their friendship and watching them grow. I am fortunate to capture a lot of newlyweds and I just adore seeing their adventures.
What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
I mostly work out of my home studio in North Central Florida but do travel all over for events and weddings. I am regularly in Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Jacksonville and even parts of Great Britain and Europe shooting fabulous weddings!
