The journey to finding myself and creating Educated Queen began October 2014. In 2014, I remember dealing with depression vividly. My life was spinning out of control. I felt that I wasn’t where I wanted to be as an adult. We all have those dreams as a child to achieve all of our goals between the age of 18-25.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Creating Educated Queen has not been a smooth road; however, my vision has not changed since beginning this journey.
Creating and executing events was a struggle for me in the beginning. Also, making sure my vision was always displayed through my apparel has not been easy.

Educated Queen was originally created as a women empowerment business. My passion as an entrepreneur has always been to inspire others and to give back to my local community. However, after creating EQ I learned more about myself and the needs of others. December 2018, I hosted SisNIC. SisNIC was amazing. I had over 50 women in attendance. This event consisted of motivational talks, yoga in the park, picnic style lunch and health coaching. The Second annual SisNIC will take place December 2019 in Plantation Florida, more information will be released in October.
January 2019, I decided to expand EQ and display my true purpose. Educated Queen is now a lifestyle brand inspiring men and women. In addition, I now offer custom apparel. Quick turnaround & low prices.
Purpose is a big deal to me!
I felt so limited only reaching women and not men.
Men need to be inspired too!
What sets me apart: my ambition, my love for apparel, my hard work and dedication. I have an unstoppable grind. While earning my Masters Degree and working full-time I poured my heart and soul into Educated Queen nonstop.
I am currently working full-time as a manager for the local government while thriving and creating/producing for EQ nonstop.
