Meet Lisa Kaplan of Your Pro Organizer

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lisa Kaplan.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Lisa. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I’m the Founder of Your Pro Organizer and a passionate advocate of intentional living. Ever since I was a child, I felt a real connection with the physical space around me. A messy space felt tense and overwhelming, while a thoughtful and well laid out room seemed to feel fresh and manageable. So I constantly revised my surroundings, ensuring each item was there for a reason while keeping the space tidy for easy use. The sense of calm I created within my own home seemed addictive for visitors. They would constantly comment on how peaceful they felt, but the conversation often ended there. I soon realized my worldview was not as well-known as I had believed. It was obvious that after a lifetime of consumerism and societal pressure, people were stuck! At this point, the decision was simple. I drew on my education in hospitality and my experience in corporate organization and production to open Your Pro Organizer. We now work with clients across South Florida to help them achieve spatial efficiency and that incredible sense of calm in their own homes and offices.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s funny you ask. The work we do helps to create that ‘smooth road.’ Often times when you get rid of the mental and physical excess and tailor the rest to fit with your true intention, the road becomes far less bumpy. Of course there are peaks and valleys in any business but our philosophy and the amazing collaboration of our team helps guide us through.

Please tell us about Your Pro Organizer.
Your Pro Organizer is a home and office organization firm with a distinct approach toward curating streamlined and intentional interiors. In other words, we help our clients discover the amazing benefits of a life without clutter. By completely breaking down disorganized spaces then re-creating them to mirror the ideal life of each client, we are able to deliver uniquely tailored results on a continual basis. I believe this approach is how we are able to sharply stand out from others in the industry.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Surprisingly, or not so surprisingly if you know me, all of my childhood memories revolve around food or some aspect of dining with family and friends. Growing up in a home that placed a heavy importance on family meals really helped shape the way I see the world. Whether it was a holiday meal hosted by my mother or a Wednesday night ordering pizza, the time we spent around the dinner table solidified the importance of creating and enjoying time with my loved ones. Looking back, I’m sure it had a big role to play in our “experiences, not things” mantra. I like to think that this value is passed along to our clients.

  • Smart Spaces Membership: $225 for 4 hours a month (auto renews monthly, cancel or pause at any time)
