Meet Kahlia Meeks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kahlia Meeks.

Kahlia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
In 2017, I had a spiritual experience while on a job in Corporate America as the Compliance and Privacy Officer for an international organization. I literally heard the voice of The Most High tell me it’s time for me to leave the job and focus on building my own entity. At that exact moment, I packed up my personal belongings, said goodbye to my colleagues and left Corporate America.

A few months prior to leaving Corporate America, I started Illustrious Consultants, which I have government and private entity contracts that focus on Information Technology, Cybersecurity, staffing, and a plethora of other professional services. Just two months after leaving Corporate America, I learned and mastered government contracting and earned my first six-figure deal. I subsequently began a non-profit organization, Jumpstart Towards Success, which assists the jobless with resources to get back into the workforce; Kahlia Meeks Enterprises, which is my personal brand that is comprised of partnerships and collaborations with global organizations; and Most Divine Tresses, a hair and beauty accessory company. I am also a self-published author of Manifest Your Destiny: Use your Personal Growth and Development to Manifest What is Destined for Your Life’s Path; a certified life coach; a public speaker and interviewee of radio shows which include topics such as Autism, the meaning of purpose, and how to manifest destinies. To conclude this section, Kahlia Meeks Enterprises is a volunteer for Feeding South Florida, which is a branch of the Entity, Feeding America; a member of the NAACP, and a mentor for existing students at one on my higher-learning educational institutions.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to financial independence, enhanced personal development and intensified spirituality was not smooth. There were many highs and lows, gains and losses, victories and defeats. Fortunately, I viewed the experiences as lessons for growth versus struggles. When I committed to change my life in order to embark on the journey of self-love and self-improvement to be a change catalyst to better the lives of others, I encountered many hurdles. Each hurdle was a test of strength, faith, tenacity, and mental strength. There were days that I questioned plan A and sought plan B. I realized plan B was not an option and stuck with plan A. I was obedient to the directions from The Most High which I received in June of 2017 and took the road that was rough versus the road, which was paved.

I climbed the proverbial mountain of losses and gains. I respected losing and winning once I gained control of self. I lost business deals, was down to my last financially; however, I kept my faith. Faith allowed me to carry on with determination, resolve and staying power. I can proudly say the rough road which I decided to take is now paved because I refined the roughness of the road along my journey. The scars from climbing the mountain have healed and I have proudly and humbly pitched my flag at the top of the mountain.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
Kahlia Meeks Enterprises is an organization that is focused on teaching individuals how to manifest their pre-ordained destinies and all desires of life which are inclusive of: personal development; physical; mental; and spiritual well-being; independence; and entrepreneurship. I have been a public speaker for decades along with being an author and certified life coach. I am known for being a compassionate, loving humanitarian who has dedicated my life to positively change the lives of others by offering motivation through positive reinforcements. Personal development and the manifestation of destiny is my method of motivating others by providing key life tools to allow strategic goals and visions to be attained.

I am most proud of the fact that I have changed many lives for the betterment of self with my book, Manifest Your Destiny: Use Your Personal Growth and Development to Manifest What is Destined for Your Life’s Path. I am also proud to be known as “The faith-walker” by family and friends, as I have untouchable confidence in the faith which has gotten me to the level of success in many facets of my life.

The differentiator of me and other great souls on the mission to change the lives of others for self-improvement is that I am radical and have no fear in the fight of what is right and wrong with unbiased, consistent and objective standpoints. Additionally, I openly target individuals of all socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities, countries, religions, spiritual practices, genders, sexual orientations, and encourage them to never give up while applying my teachings of Manifest Your Destiny. Lastly, I challenge all man-made conceptualizations deemed ‘normal’ and especially the blatant superiority and inferiority complexes uninhibitedly imposed upon a certain set of individuals within the United States and the bond-servants captured and illegally forced into free labor.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have to give credit to my family members who have given me unwavering support throughout my life. My mother, Reverend Dorothy McMiller, refers to me as her “Sunshine” and has always told me that I will complete all of my goals due to my tenacity and strength. My father, Harry Meeks, has always told me, “You’ve been taught, trained and coached. The rest is up to you.” My sister, Rasheda Meeks, taught me the fundamentals of life as a child and how to follow in her footsteps so that I would adapt to life’s circumstances properly as we are extremely close in age. My brother, Willie Wiggins, is selfless and has always supported all of my decisions and accomplishments with love.

My Godparents, Felix and Estela, have been instrumental in the enhancement of my spirituality which has made my relationship with self and The Most High magnificently beautiful. My family and friends (here and gone) have always known that my visions that are considered unrealistic or out of this world by the multitude of society would be executed and successfully completed. Everyone mentioned within this portion of the interview played an instrumental role in my life and I am forever grateful.
