Meet Jessica Sawicki of Luli Sleep Consulting

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Sawicki.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jessica. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
In my prior life – before kids – I was an Advertising Executive working full-time in NYC and Chicago. Once my first son was born, I decided to take a break and dedicate my time to him. Soon thereafter my second son was born and when he was about 19 months he decided to jump out of the crib. We all had been sleeping perfectly up until that moment. That’s when I hired my best friend, a Sleep Consultant herself, and she helped me transition him into a bed and a month later we were all sleeping again. Once I moved back to Miami, I realized I had to pay it back. My best friend had saved our sanity and brought sleep back into our homes, I had to do the same for others. I have been a Certified Gentle Sleep Coach for 4 years now and love every moment of it! I work with newborns, babies, toddlers, preschoolers, twins, triplets… you name it! It’s one of the most rewarding jobs I’ve done. To be able to see the transformation in the children (& the parents), from a sleepless home to a well-rested happy home, is priceless.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It’s been relatively smooth thank god, but not easy. Because it is my own business, it’s up to me to get it working and keep it moving. I do my own marketing, business management, as well as working with keeping my Clients happy. It’s a lot to manage while being a full-time mom of 3 boys as well, but it’s worth it!

Please tell us about Luli Sleep Consulting.
Luli Sleep Consulting, is made of me and only me! 🙂 It’s my own consulting business that provides one-on-one consulting with tired parents. I’m a trained & certified Gentle Sleep Coach, which means my background is not only through experience but also through educational courses. I upkeep my certification yearly, and complete extra educational courses such as; Infant Mental Health, and currently The Wonder Weeks’ Infant Mental Health and Development Foundation. I’m affiliated and a member of the Association of Professional Sleep Consultants as well as International Association of Child Sleep Consultants.

What sets me apart from others, is not only my extensive educational background in sleep consulting, but also my motivation and dedication to my Clients. I fully dedicate my work and time to my Clients and provide the one-on-one daily support the parents need to carry out the plan. I feel strongly for my Clients and they feel the emotional support and dedication I have for them.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
I don’t think I would’ve done anything differently. I am very happy with the steps I’ve taken and where I am and where I am headed.
