Meet Ana Veronica Rosales of AVR Media Group

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ana Veronica Rosales.

Ana Veronica, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I’m a journalist and photographer from Venezuela. I moved to Miami in 2010 with $ 500 in my pocket. Starting a new life from zero. Zero money, zero professional equipment, not legal status, not English, working in all jobs that you can not imagine (waitress, housekeeper, pool cleaner, babysitting, saleswoman, driver). One day after a “dog day” crying and very angry I decided to open my own business.

Selling my services door by door, sometimes working for free just to show my skills and I’m still doing that. So I’ve been running my own business since 2013 helping entrepreneurs and business to improve their marketing resources. I love to help people.

The journey has been like a rollercoaster, but it was completely worth it. Just that feeling when I read reviews from my customers in Google or just watching what I’ve done until now is absolutely amazing.

Has it been a smooth road?
No, at all. Has been a tough road because I’m an immigrant, I didn’t speak English, I didn’t know anything about this country. So I was to start from zero.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with AVR Media Group LLC – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Well, I get my bachelor degree in Mass Communication, and I specialized in photography.

When I came here, I saved some money to buy a camera, and I started to take pictures for free in events or babies or headshots, then I started to help some friends designing brochures, flyers.

I do remember when I left my job I spent all night doing a course to learn something about graphic design and can get more customers. Then I started with videos, also I did a course to learn how to edit professionally so in that way I could offer more services to my customers.

I feel so proud of my self because I do every service that I currently offer in my company. My seal is my customer services because I take the time with my customers to develop every project. If you read my google reviews you could see that is not AVR Media Group as a company, is Ana as a service provider.

Is there anyone, in particular, you would like to recognize? Mentors, etc.?
My family with no doubt, always cheering me up to keep going. All people rejected me in my beginning, they give me more power into myself. My first customers, they believed in me and my work and they still working with me.
