Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Kelly Silverio.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts to parents who moved over from Brasil. For as long as I can remember, my parents always served others and never expected anything in return. From helping people with a job to a place to stay to even buying groceries for families in need, they did it. They didn’t look for a praise, they simply wanted to be a blessing to others. This principle alone, taught me to be selfless and to be of service to others. All of this simply helps the world become a better place a little more.
As I got older, I became more involved in my community. I joined a community service organization, launched a natural skincare line and much more is to come. All of this, to simply help others feel better and aim to be the best version of themselves.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing amazing comes at a cheap price. I don’t really look at certain situations as obstacles or struggles, I see them as an opportunity for me to overcome. I am constantly a student of life and am willing to learn to expand my knowledge and experiences. My advice to others, in general, is to start somewhere. Whatever you are looking to do, do your research and go for it. Learn along the way and trust the process.

In college, I assisted in chartering a chapter of a national community service organization SISTUHS, Incorporated, which was founded to improve the social disposition of underrepresented populations through community service, education, and other social services in our respective communities. We have done a plethora of services in the community from collecting sanitary items for homeless people to helping local gardens, beaches, and other environmental areas. I now serve on the National Board of Directors and it is my mission to aim in serving as many communities as possible.
In addition to helping others’ well being, my love for skincare reached a new level. Since I was young, my parents always used natural remedies and ingredients. I created my own hair masks and then facial scrubs, body butter and much more. People would ask how my skin would look so good and it was simply what I made at home. I recently took a leap of faith and launched my own skincare line, Natú Skincare, made only with natural ingredients. It is my hope that each client who uses my products, feels and looks better. I want everyone’s skincare routine to feel clean, fresh and luxurious. Moreover, for each item one buys, I donate a bar of soap to a local organization that focuses on providing hygienic items to those in need.
On the same token, my best friends and business partners, Natalie and Keisha, are launching a beauty brand called Doyenne Dynasty. You’re soon to be favorite one stop shop for hair, lashes and all things beauty. It is our goal to use this platform to build confidence and empower women to be all they want to be.
What sets me apart is that I am tenacious and constantly aim to be a better version of myself, which reflects on my brands and everyone around me.

I am currently reading a book called “Think & Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. This book has elevated my mindset on driving and manifesting your own success. A few podcasts that are AMAZING are “Side Hustle Pro” by Nicaila Matthews Okome and “Woman Evolve” by Sarah Jakes Roberts. Nicaila has amazing women on her show who are rich in all areas of their lives and she asks questions to pick their brains on how they have become successful and how they are building legacies and those answers give you LIFE! Sarah is a heaven-sent angel that God is truly using to put you in a space where you look at the depths of your soul to trust in him through your journey to your purpose.
