Meet Alizé Rodriguez of Adore Alize in West Miami

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alizé Rodriguez.

Alizé, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
This past year I lost who I was and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. All my friends had these cool hobbies and I wanted to find something that I had an interest in. This past July I got my first job and with my first paycheck, I invested in and used the money to create a website. Eventually, every weekly paycheck I grew my business more and more. I would buy clothing, lip gloss products, eyelashes. The more products I had, the more the business grew. I was so surprised because people I didn’t know were buying my products from different states. Then, everything clicked that this is what I wanna do with my life.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There have been some ups and downs. One day I’ll get 20 orders in one day and another day I’ll go a couple of days without any orders, but that’s how the business world works. Since I am a brand new business I expect more bumps in the road.

Please tell us about your business.
My business is the one-stop-shop for girls. I want girls to find all their needs in one place. I specialize in lashes, gloss, and clothing. I’m mostly known for my lashes because they’re such good quality at a low price. I’m most proud of my clothing. I want to be in the fashion industry and I’m currently design t-shirts but it’s a long process.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory would have to be when my cousins and I would hang out together. We all used to live near each other and hang out 24/7. They would always come over my house because my mom was everyones favorite Tia. We would have dance battles on the Wii, make videos and post them on youtube, and go everywhere around town. We all grew up and I’m so proud of the people they have become. It inspires me to push myself further and push my business further.
