My entrepreneurial journey began as a teenager and evolved through years of experience building and operating businesses. Xendoo emerged directly from that experience. After seeing the same challenges faced by countless other business owners, the opportunity became clear: to build a modern, tech-driven accounting company designed around consistency, accessibility, and partnership. Xendoo was created to give small business owners financial visibility, ongoing support, and a trusted accounting relationship, grounded in making the accounting process easier to manage.
Today, Xendoo reflects that journey. Built by an entrepreneur for entrepreneurs, the company continues to focus on supporting business owners with the structure and financial confidence needed to grow.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship is never a smooth road. At its core, being an entrepreneur means being a builder and solving problems. It’s rarely smooth, but it’s the part of the work we enjoy most, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. What’s unique about my journey is that I’ve built businesses across different industries, with each company bringing a different set of challenges along the way.
The struggles along the way depend on the stage of the company. The biggest challenges in building businesses are people, cash, and timing, and they show up at different points in the journey. Cash is the oxygen of a business. You need enough to carry you through unexpected periods. People are the engine. There are times when you need generalists and times when you need specialists. They are the intellectual capital of the enterprise. Timing matters as well. Being too early or too late can impact whether a business succeeds.
