Exploring Life & Business with Logan Rae of Argon Agency

Today we’d like to introduce you to Logan Rae.

Hi Logan, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I began working full-time at around 14. My first real job was for an optometry practice where I learned the base of the skills I use daily now. I enrolled in an online private high school and applied as an early admission student to Florida Atlantic University.

About a year later I graduated high school, became emancipated, and enrolled at Cornell University with the dream of becoming a veterinarian. One semester in I decided that path was not for me, nor was living in New York. I returned to Florida and finished my studies in Neuroscience instead.

During college, I worked for an orthopedic surgeon and for FAU as a program director. I became a mother at 17, a published clinical author at 19, and an entrepreneur for the first time at 20.

My first article in VoyageMIA features Bacon Boxes – my first go at entrepreneurship.

After exiting Bacon Boxes, I worked in marketing for the legal financing industry and addiction treatment industry. It wasn’t until Covid began that I became an entrepreneur again. Argon Agency was founded after I left a role with a company that wasn’t matching my moral values.

Argon Agency has created an incredible opportunity to work in a multitude of industries and pursue the types of jobs our team is most passionate about.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Life would be boring if there weren’t challenges along the way. What many don’t understand is that how you choose to suffer is within your control. I have always viewed problems as having a solution if you apply yourself to solving it.

Entrepreneurship requires a lot of mental and physical endurance. Most of the challenges I’ve experienced have come from bootstrapping and some from finding the right talent.

The employment market is funky right now. It’s hard to test some of the needed skills until hiring someone. Once hired after anticipating performance you find out they stretched the truth on their skillset or that their portfolio isn’t really their portfolio.

Employees don’t realize that you’re a start-up, you have a limited margin for error and every dollar is an investment into the growth of the organization. Hiring people with intrinsic motivation and the willingness to learn has become essential.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Argon Agency is a full-service marketing agency specializing in CMO support. We consider ourselves your partner rather than the traditional service/client relationship.

Our clients rave about our quality of work and our responsiveness. We value results, transparency, and good communication.

Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
We are expanding and looking to hire new talent of all levels.
