Today, we’d like to introduce you to Omar Molina.
Hi Omar, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My name is Omar Molina, and I am from Costa Rica. I am 23 and currently in Miami, developing and growing my brand.
Cool Brand was born in 2019 as a virtual clothing and sneakers store through social networks, but little by little, it became more than a clothing and sneakers store. We sell exclusive clothing, sneakers, accessories, and jewelry brands.
In 2022, I came to the United States to establish a physical store in one of the most exclusive areas of Miami.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It has not been easy; I have always thought, “If dreams don’t keep me awake, they are not big enough for me.”
I think the most difficult thing has been to captivate the right customer for the products we offer at Cool Brand, but we continue working every day to make this happen.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am an Industrial Engineer by profession, but when I was 19, I made a promise to myself: I decided that I would not work for someone else, and that is how the idea of creating Cool Brand began.
I became known in Costa Rica for the content I publish on social networks, in addition to telling people the background of each of the sneakers we offer in our store.
What changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
People who buy and collect sneakers now value the exclusivity and authenticity of the product much more, and Cool Brand offers that to them.
In addition, now singers, politicians and celebrities are looking to create their line of sneakers with their name and style on them, this brings them closer to fans even more so I think this trend will increase over time.
