Daily Inspiration: Meet Alaysia Miller

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alaysia Miller.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I actually started my CPR business in a very unexpected way. I attended a business networking event and found myself surrounded by women in healthcare who were also entrepreneurs. Being in that room shifted something in me. I had never really envisioned myself as a business owner, but seeing so many women confidently building their own paths inspired me to explore what was possible for me too.
I wanted to choose a business that made sense, something with a real demand, something meaningful, and something where my target audience was already right in front of me. As a nurse practitioner, I work around healthcare professionals every single day. I know their schedules, their stressors, and the constant need for CPR/BLS renewal. So launching a CPR business felt natural, purposeful, and aligned with what I already knew.
Once I started NP Luxe CPR, I committed myself to learning every part of the business, the logistics, the systems, the marketing, the certifications, all of it. As I grew, I realized something important:
Healthcare professionals are burned out. They want more freedom. They want options. Many of them want income that doesn’t drain them mentally or physically.
And teaching CPR classes is exactly that, it’s meaningful, flexible, and nowhere near as exhausting as running around a hospital for 12 hours.
That realization led me to create my digital course, where I now teach other nurses and healthcare workers how to launch their own CPR businesses. I wanted to build something that not only supports clinics and community organizations with high-quality CPR training, but also empowers healthcare professionals to create income, freedom, and balance on their own terms.
Today, NP Luxe CPR is both a service-based business and an educational platform. It’s the foundation that allows me to help organizations stay compliant, and help healthcare workers build a business that gives them room to breathe again.
And honestly, it all started with one event, one room full of powerful healthcare women, and one moment where I realized:
“If they can build something of their own… so can I.”

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
For the most part, yes, the road has been smoother than many might expect. But like any new entrepreneur, I definitely faced my share of learning curves along the way.

My biggest challenges weren’t dramatic setbacks, but rather the real-world business hurdles that come with stepping into a new role: learning marketing, mastering visibility, developing systems, and figuring out how to stay consistent with customers.

In the beginning, I quickly learned that having a great service isn’t enough, you have to understand how to brand yourself, how to follow up so you don’t miss potential clients, and how to stay visible so people actually know you exist. Visibility is a skill, and as healthcare professionals we’re not always used to being “front-facing,” so that was something I had to grow into.

Another challenge was learning the business itself. I had clinical expertise, but running a CPR company requires understanding operations, compliance, scheduling, and customer experience. I also had to search for someone willing to mentor me, guide me, and help me understand the industry from the inside out. That took time, and a lot of trial and error.

But overall, the journey hasn’t been overwhelming; it’s been a series of new lessons and hurdles that taught me how to become a stronger business owner. Every challenge helped me refine my systems, my messaging, and my confidence. And those lessons are now exactly what I pass on to the healthcare professionals who join my course, so they can build their CPR business with fewer bumps and far more clarity.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a nurse practitioner and at NP Luxe CPR, I provide high-quality CPR training for healthcare teams, dental offices, schools, daycares, and community organizations. I’m also the creator of a digital course that teaches healthcare professionals how to start their own CPR business so they can experience more freedom, flexibility, and financial stability.

What I’m most proud of is the impact my work has on both sides of the industry:
• helping organizations stay compliant without stress
• empowering healthcare providers to build a business that supports their lifestyle
• and ultimately contributing to safer communities through lifesaving education

What sets me apart as a CPR Business is my background as a nurse practitioner, which ensures I have first hand experience with providing CPR and life saving skills. My business flexibility also sets me apart as a CPR Business. NP Luxe CPR is a fully mobile CPR business, which means I travel directly to my clients, whether it’s a primary care clinic, dermatology office, dental practice, daycare, school, or hospital. This eliminates the inconvenience of staff traveling across town and allows organizations to stay productive while getting certified.

My work blends healthcare expertise, entrepreneurship, and convenience in a way that makes CPR training simple, accessible, and aligned with the real needs of busy professionals.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
One of the biggest resources in my life is the Holy Bible App. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I genuinely believe God is the reason for all of my success. Starting my day with scripture keeps me grounded, focused, and aligned with my purpose.

I also rely on Audible. As a busy nurse practitioner and entrepreneur, it’s not always easy to sit down with a physical book, so being able to listen to personal development, business books, and mindset content has helped me grow tremendously.

And lastly, mentorship. Having mentors in different areas of my life has made a huge impact. Whether it’s someone helping me with public relations and visibility, or mentors guiding me in building systems, structure, and confidence as a business owner, mentorship has helped me maneuver through challenges and become better in both life and entrepreneurship.

These tools together keep me spiritually centered, mentally growing, and professionally supported.
