Hi Jean Titus, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Yeah… so if I’m being honest, I did what most people are programmed to do. I chased security. I built a career in finance, as a stock broker for Morgan and Stanley. I did well. On paper, it looked great. The income was strong, the title made sense, everything checked out. But internally? Something just felt off, I knew I wanted something different with my life. And I ignored it for a while. Then I hit a real turning point in my life. I started asking, what does success look like? That mental shift changed everything. I realized I didn’t want comfort. I wanted alignment. So, I pivoted. I built Titus Unlimited. I launched my supplement brand. I doubled down on health, performance, and ownership. I wrote UNLIMITED because I know what it feels like to look successful and still feel misaligned. Now I build things that actually reflect who I am. And that feels different. I am finally living in my purpose
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not even close. Anybody who tells you that betting on yourself is smooth is lying. Leaving predictability isn’t smooth. Watching consistent income disappear isn’t smooth. Having people question your decisions isn’t smooth. There were moments where the old life felt safer. Easier. And building a supplement company? That’s not Instagram content. That’s sourcing. Testing. Compliance. Manufacturing delays. Customer education. Protecting your reputation. But struggle clarifies you. Every obstacle forced me to get sharper. More disciplined. More certain. I really believe most people don’t fail because they lack ability. They fail because they won’t endure discomfort long enough.

I study independent thinkers.
The Autobiography of Malcolm X had a big impact on me. So did Man’s Search for Meaning. Books like that force you to confront responsibility and perspective.
I also respect books like Relentless and The 4-Hour Workweek because they challenge how you approach performance and structure.
Outside of that, I study physiology constantly. Hormonal imbalance. Metabolic science. Longevity data. Because if you understand the body, you understand behavior. As far as apps? I keep it simple. Notes app. Training tracker. Business analytics. And yeah… Candy Crush when I need to unplug for ten minutes. But tools don’t make you disciplined. Discipline makes tools useful.
