Today we’d like to introduce you to Isabella Buscemi.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Since I was a little girl, I always dreamed of becoming two things; a teacher, and a model. I always believed that teaching was more for me because I love kids and making a difference in their lives. Modeling wasn’t so much of a passion because I always felt I wasn’t tall enough and too curvy to fit the standards of a top model.
The day I met my fiancée, he always said I would make an excellent model. At the time, I had 40k followers but never used it to my advantage. I wasn’t confident enough to post in bikini and lingerie. He pushed me to monetize my Instagram page and become the model I had dreamed of as a little girl. Now, I have the best of both worlds. I am a model studying education at Florida International University. Who says you can’t be sexy and be an educator?! In all, I wouldn’t have become an Instagram influencer if it wasn’t for my fiancée, so a big thanks to him for believing in me and helping me grow as a woman.
Has it been a smooth road?
At first, it was a bumpy road. My parents and family members weren’t happy with the photos, but they finally began to understand and value my choice of work. Since the day I chose to become an Instagram influencer and model, I never gave up on my studies so they appreciated that.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I consider myself a well-rounded influencer/model. I can do fashion, swim, sporty, sexy, etc. I would say I’m known for my humble, outgoing personality and my body that I work hard for. I’m proud that I can empower other women and make a positive influence in their lives. What mostly sets me apart from others is the fact that the “fame” has never changed who I am. I have remained humble since day one and have kept it as real as can be.
How would you describe the type of kid you were growing up?
Growing up, I have always been the outgoing little girl, dancing for people, and being the life of the party. I was never shy! I would always hang out with the adults more than the children my age. I was always very honest (sometimes TOO honest, it would get me in trouble).
