Meet Chasity Chandler of Center for Sexual Health & Wellness, LLC in Port Saint Lucie, Vero Beach and Stuart

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chasity Chandler.

Chasity, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
This business started with a vision and a passion to help others that often times find it difficult to access quality services from truly qualified professionals. I remember sharing my vision with two ladies I admire and stating that this would be a five-year goal. I recall one of them saying, why five years Chas, you can start on that now. I took those words and encouragement and began to plan for my own practice as I continued to service my clients in someone else’s. The practice was great and all, but my passion was not allowed to be free and I knew that what I had in mind was bigger than what I was actually doing. As a result, I opened my Private Practice in Vero Beach, Fl and then expanded it first to Port Saint Lucie, which is the primary location, and then to Stuart.

Today, we have a team of licensed and non-licensed therapists, certified life coaches, qualified supervisors and the recent addition of a psychiatric ARNP.

At the Center for Sexual Health & Wellness, LLC we strive to create an environment that promotes emotional, physical, mental and sexual health for ALL. We specialize in meeting the clients where they are and creating coaching & therapeutic experiences that are free of judgment, coercion, and discrimination

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road. Initially, I had to do some major rebranding to distinguish who I am from where I was practicing previously. This took a lot of time and effort networking, hitting the pavement and getting my name out there. It wasn’t always easy and there were times that you didn’t know how everything was going to get paid. I had faith, my passion, and my purpose and I was determined to make it all work. There has been time and energy poured into other individuals which ended in some emotional scars, but you learn quickly there is no room for feelings in business and you push through and move on. Through this journey, I have also learned that you cannot help everyone and sometimes it’s more harmful to you to keep trying. Your tribe is your tribe and not everyone is meant to be in your space.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Center for Sexual Health & Wellness, LLC – what should we know?
I provide a safe space for clients, other therapists and professionals to come to receive quality, affordable and confidential care that is empathetic, affirming, empowering and facilitates real change. I personally specialize in couples and relationship counseling, LGBTQ+ concerns, Sex Therapy, Substance Abuse, Trauma and therapy for therapists. I’m most known for being straight forward and client-centered in my approach to helping. I make coming to see a therapist a positive and inviting experience and my clients always feel better when they leave than they did when they came in! I am most proud of creating a space for the community to come to get services for all most all mental health concerns aside from eating disorders. My brand was built on hard work and dedication to providing the best to those within the Treasure Coast, throughout Florida and soon to be other states. As a service provider, we have over 100 years of combined experience with a variety of backgrounds, ethnicities, and genders. What sets my practice apart from others is we are a specialty practice and all 15+ independent contractors have dedicated certifications, degrees, and training to enhance their specialty is. We offer Reiki, hypnosis, rapid resolution therapy, EMDR and more as alternatives to traditional talk therapy. We recently brought on a Psychiatric ARNP who can provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management appointments to assist those who require so. We provide supervision for registered interns for mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy and clinical social work (as needed). Our team speaks English, Spanish, Creole, and American Sign Language and we offer services in-person, Teletherapy and Telemedicine. Our services range in price from as low as $60-150 and we accept Cigna & Compsych insurance, a host of EAPs and provide superbills for out of network billing options.

I run a Facebook group whose sole purpose is to help other therapists connect, communicate and collaborate. We do this by meeting up and participating in various events off-line to enhance the chances and opportunities to make more meaningful connections. This is a global call to action. How do you define success?
I define success as being able to do what you feel is your purpose, coupled with what you’re truly passionate about and allowing that to yield profits. True success happens when you are able to help others succeed and duplicate this process or being able to reach whatever it is that they see as success for themselves. Killing your goals, creating new opportunities to help others and being able to level up in your business are other markers I look for when gauging progress on the road to success.

I also believe that our views or thoughts of what success is changing or evolves when we have more access to successful people and influencers who can help us see that we’re capable of more than what they teach us in school and the sky truly is the limit.
