Meet Tristan Arfi

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tristan Arfi.

Tristan, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I’m a former Athlete and I competed for the French National Rowing Team. I went to college in France for a Bachelor in Sports and Sciences specialized in Physical Training.

After my Bachelor’s degree I was one of the first French Personal Trainers in Nice. I than moved to Paris to pass my Masters Degree in Strength & Conditioning.

I realized my business was gaining more momentum around Paris than in the South East of France.

I built a Team of Trainers in Paris that collaborated with me. At the peak of my business I had 24 trainers working all around Paris.

I participated in different TV shows and wrote articles for newspapers, magazines, and websites that specialized in Health and Fitness. I had my own small daily TV Show the last year I was in Paris.

I moved to Miami for personal reasons, however, my network from Paris allowed me to find clients in Miami. I have been a trainer for over 15 Years and have worked with many different clients form actors, singers, French Hip-hop Stars, Billionaires, Athletes, Bodybuilders, and your regular family man. I strive to help people want to be better, feel better and reach their maximum fitness potential.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being an entrepreneur is never a smooth road, I’m always trying to better my business, and start new project unfortunately the finance is always a very sensitive part to bring your ideas to reality and investors can be very unreliable.

I always come back to my business core that is Personal Training but entrepreneurs are ambitious by definition and when we fail it brings us experienced and knowledge to do better and start again and again.

Finding clients, it’s easy, finding good clients that pay the right price is very challenging in Miami! I don’t see other trainers as competition if they are good trainers, generally we work together in a very friendly environment.

Tristan Arfi Master Trainer – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I’m a Mater Trainer so I train people and follow them on their fitness journey with their diet and workout, and I’m known for my capacity to train people with injuries and…. female models without making them bulky (Parisian style!)

I’m proud of what I have accomplished until now, be able to move around the world and still being successful at what you do make you very confident in your skills. Next step is to open my own fitness boutique studio.

My polyvalence and my knowledge, working in an industry where your competition study on internet for some weeks when you spent 5 years studying in college accumulation of skills and practice…. set me definitely apart!

What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
When investors believed in my different projects and invested in it! It made me feel so good about myself and showed that my skills are not limited to fitness…100% entrepreneur
