Fabio and Hilda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Opera D’Arte opened its doors in February 2014. After many years in the Italian bridal fashion industry, we decided to expand our business to the US and finally open our bridal boutique. We care about our brides from sharing their stories to the last final touch of their dresses following them in individual appointments. We love to dedicate ourselves exclusively to one bride at the time assuring to the lovely brides an exquisite experience. Opera D’Arte gives to the brides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to feel comfortable and relaxed for one of the most joyful parts of wedding planning.
We work with our Family brands COTIN SPOSA and DONATELLA PICCARRETA made in Italy since 1955. We only use Italian silks, French and Italian laces, and precious beadwork to give a great result to a wonderful style. Each style is made to be exclusive to our brides being personalized in each detail such as longer train, increasing or decreasing the amount of beads on the dress, changing or adding lace, changing the shape of the gown and so much more. Opera D’Arte Bridal offers in-house alterations with our experienced and professional alteration consultant. To make the process as easy as possible, we offer one-on-one consultations with our alterations consultant. In order to achieve the perfect fit in a stress-free and convenient atmosphere, we recommend a five-week period from first fitting to the last fitting. Fittings take place in our boutique with our alteration specialists.
Has it been a smooth road?
Along the way, we had some bumps! Having only worked in the Italian market we had to adapt and understand the Miami bridal market. As well as many of our brides had to take time to understand our concept. One of our toughest challenges was guiding the bride in understand that her gown can be completely customized to fit her needs. This concept has been one that has blended perfectly with our brides. We assist the bride in a step by step process which allows her to pick every detail of her dress.

However, the brides love and quick turn around to make the dresses for the brides who do not have too much time for their wedding.

We are a small bridal atelier with a historical background; Our company was founded in 1955 in Bari, Italy by my grandparents. Our flagship store is located in the same spot it opened in 1955. It continues to be a family business with one goal and that is to produce a beautiful and one of a piece gown for each one of our brides.
We specialize in customizing all the dresses for our brides and using great fabrics and best materials.
We are known for Excellent service, great products, and modest prices.
We are proud of the fact that all our brides leave our store very satisfied and happy.
We are different from other stores for Quality, custom dresses, made to measure, experience.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Definitely, Miami is a great City for this business being a city that absorb all brides from Florida and Latin America.
