Today we’d like to introduce you to Roosevelt Merisier.
Roosevelt, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My passion for film was always something that I found interest in. I always thought it was extremely fascinating that a screenwriter would just write something and watch it come to life on the big screen. My mind was always imaginary, my teachers always complimented my storytelling essays but I never thought it was something that was gifted to me, I thought any and everybody had an imaginary mind. I didn’t take it seriously till about three years ago and I must say these past three years have been the best years of my life. Just finding true purpose and finding where you belong in this world is just amazing. I’ve accomplished so much in 3 years. I’m an Award-winning filmmaker, I have been on huge film sets with some of the biggest artists here in Florida. I have held my own successful film screenings for my projects. I’ve also worked with Local High School sports teams creating memorable Documentaries that they will remember for the rest of their lives. My goal is to be one of the best filmmakers in the world and I feel like I am on that path. One day at a time is the motto. Inspire to be inspired. One love.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I can honestly say it’s been a smooth road so far because I know how much work I put in everyday. I’m a big believer in myself and my work ethic. Anything is possible if you put your heart and mind to whatever you want to achieve. I work extremely hard because I love what I do and know what I am capable of so I look at it as just another day for me to be better than I was yesterday. Growth is inevitable.
FNO Production LLC – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
FNO PRODUCTIONS is an Independent Film Production Company. I’m a Film Producer, Director, Screenwriter, and Actor, Fno Productions specialize in creating some of the best short films in the Florida market, Documentaries, Music Videos, Commercials and more. Fno Productions is known for winning Awards for some of their best work and being heavily apart of helping build the youth community. What’s sets FNO apart from others is the passion behind the work and the Quality of the work we put out, We believe in creating the delivering the best work, it’s all or nothing.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me finding what you love to do and be good enough at it to inspire others to find themselves to be great. My purpose is to service others.
