Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Porfidio.
Hailing from Caracas Venezuela, renowned 25-year-old DJ/Producer Victor Porfidio has quickly established himself as one of the few young premier rising talents in the South American market with international appeal. After getting his start as a DJ at the young age of 14 by playing house parties and breaking into the Venezuelan club circuit at 16, he has not looked back as his brand has now become a national sensation playing in front of thousands regularly. He has already shared the stage with dance music heavyweights such as David Guetta, Axwell, Ingrosso, Steve Angello and many more as well as secured residencies in some of the top international venues in the world such as Mansion nightclub, SET Miami, Space Miami, and WALL. There appears to be no ceiling in sight for this promising prospect as Victor now seeks to continue to expand his brand into the international market and position himself as one of the top in the industry.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I can confess that it has not been an easy road, but I can say that it has been fun… coming from a Latin American country where Latin music predominates, the work of the public has taken time.
I like challenges, I try to work hard every day and position my work, my name and my music in every corner of the world.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Victor Porfidio story. Tell us more about the business.
Victor Porfidio as a company VP MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT has positioned itself little by little within the entertainment market in Latin America, achieving collaborations between the greats of Latin and electronic music.
Having the opportunity to present myself at festivals and electronic music clubs in Latin America is something that makes us feel very proud, now we are focused on conquering other corners of the world.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I think that luck does not come alone, it comes with the union of the focus on the goal and the enjoyment of the path. Luckily, I have learned to carry both with patience, and we have left with “luck” in several opportunities.
