Each year, OmLuxe chooses to support a notable cause or organization advocating social change.
Since in 2013 we have chosen the Somaly Mam Foundation, Matt Damon’s Foundation Water.org, The Big Life Foundation and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, Project Soar, Women’s Empowerment Project, India.
I believe in giving back and in helping others.
OmLuxe Participants have raised over $100,000 USD to date for these various NGO’s and Charities.
I believe it’s only when we are giving back that are we truly living our Dharma and contributing to Humanity and to the planet.
Pamela is a self-professed yogaholic with a severe case of Wanderlust She is a global citizen, lover of life and a fierce devotee of soul. She is committed to living her Life’s purpose and helping other’s to live theirs.
She is a certified Yoga Instructor, advocate for social change and serious aficionado of luxury travel, art & fashion.
She is also an award-winning International photographer that creates images that captivate, intrigue & inspire.
She donates her photography skills to Operation Smile missions in Southeast Asia and NGO’s in South Africa working with HIV + Woman and Children where she also started a yoga program. She also works with Matt Damon’s Water.org shooting documentary work of their work in India.
Her on-going body of work is titled “Wanderlust” and is collection of photos from over 30-countries on 6-continents around the world. Her passionate interest in People, world cultures and travel are guiding forces in her work.
Pamela is a passionate member of 1% for the planet, an organization that donates 1% of their income to environmental organizations worldwide.

The OmLuxe Collection was born from an OmLuxe Retreat I lead to India in 2015.
With the help of an amazing group of women attending the retreat enough money was raised to help a group of women in rural India start a sewing collective. This in turn has empowered these women to become self-sufficient by enabling them to make a living with their sewing skills thru the sale of their goods in their local village in Kerala.
A portion of proceeds from all Omluxe Collection sales worldwide have gone back to these Indian women via the OmLuxe Collective. This further assisted them in buying Sewing Machines and Fabrics so they can make a sustainable living.
The OmLuxe Collective is dedicated to celebrating & empowering women with a desire to initiate positive change in the world.
The OmLuxe Collective is a group of Women in India growing into economic self- sufficiency through the art of their hands. They are crafting their own independence and becoming financially self-sufficient.
A woman in the developing world spends an average of 90 cents out of every dollar on education and healthcare for her children and family. For men, the statistics are closer to 30%, so that supporting women has a multiplier effect as her family and community also benefit from her choices, leadership, and prosperity.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been Relatively smooth, Sourcing of Fabrics, Crystals and Tassels for the bags has not always been as easy as we would like and knowing how much to produce of a particular item and fabric has been a bit tricky or challenging and we are still learning to understand the best way to do this so we don’t overproduce something and end up with a lot of stock. We have had the normal growing pains of starting a new business and learning as we go but it’s been a fun, creative and rewarding experience overall.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the OmLuxe Collection & OmLuxe Retreats story. Tell us more about the business.
As for OmLuxe Retreats I am most proud of raising over $100,000 USD for various Charities whose work I believe in and making a difference around the world in particular we raised $26,000 for The Big Life Foundation and the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to help protect the Elephants from Poachers in Africa during our Kenya Retreat was a big highlight for me.

I think what sets my Retreats apart is that I create Bespoke Experiences to some of the most Sacred Destinations around the world and make a difference and impact in the communities we visit.
