Meet Maria Ravani of Só Sobre Rodas Magazine in Sunny Isles Beach

Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Ravani.

Maria, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Revista Só Sobre Rodas was open in December of 2001 to target the Brazilian community, the most growing population in Florida and is the first and only magazine published in the Portuguese language dedicated to the world of auto industry, connecting a vast and growing niche of advertisers to the Brazilian public in Florida.

Our publication covers all around marketing topics interesting to the public and enthusiasts: car and motorcycles industries, racing, road tests and any other relevant event in the auto world, aviation and tourism, featuring interviews and many were-are-they now articles.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
As the smooth road meeting people, traveling everywhere invited by different automakers, driving new cars for test drive, many not yet in the market, among others that have made life easier for us.

It is not easy to maintain a community publication for so long. We did face problems like most Florida residents as hurricanes, and some storms in which we have been closed for a while and also the economic recession that have devastated the country in the 2000 decade, world, and also aviation and tourism.

As I have told, our publication covers all around marketing topics interesting to the public and enthusiasts: car and motorcycles industries, racing, road tests and any other relevant event in the auto world, aviation and tourism, featuring interviews and many were-are-they now articles.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I have to start over I would get some investors before start a first publication that would make my life a little more easily.
