Today we’d like to introduce you to Estefania E. Clavero.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
My story starts when I was about 12-13 my mom gave me a Canon Film camera and started taking picture of everything I saw, I did not know what I was doing but when I got the images developed it was amazing how different everything looks. After high school I decide it to attend The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where I learn everything to do with photography, businesses wise and technical.
Please tell us about your art.
My specialty is Fashion and Adverting photography I love working with Models, make-up artist, fashion designers, fashion bloggers. I want people to open a magazine and look an image of a garment and say I love this look, but not just because of the fashion but because they love the way the image makes them feel.
What do you think about conditions for artists today? Has life become easier or harder for artists in recent years? What can cities like ours do to encourage and help art and artists thrive?
I think the conditions of artist has become Harder during the years, the art world it’s not as successful as ones was, but I also think we have push thru the barriers and become more eccentric and used art as a more powerful media for politics and culture.
Cities like ours have become very open to what is going on in this world, and we as artist can change the view of people by showing them a photograph of for example a protest, our city is one of the biggest in the country and if artist take part of the culture here they will thrive in anything they set their minds too.
How or where can people see your work? How can people support your work?
