“I am too young to have lifeless hair!”
I founded Krézinu because I started to experience what I felt was yucky, lifeless hair in my late, mid-twenties. You know hair that is thinning way faster than it should, breaking, and dull. After numerous tests and countless doctor’s visits, the cause of my lifeless, dull hair “was not really known”. Uh, I was frustrated. It seemed like it was primarily due to the aging process. Doctors told me it was something I was going to have to deal with, nothing was systemically wrong. I adjusted my diet and lifestyle, researched over the counter solutions, took vitamins. I meditated and reduced stress. I am an avid yogi and a global meditation and breath instructor but I still was not seeing the results I wanted.
My hair still looked like it was aging faster than I was.
Relying on over a decade of experience in the beauty industry, I began to lean on science and nature to explore the life cycle of hair. Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I feel like the most blessed human that walks this earth. No, the road has not always been smooth, but everything has been and is a learning experience. When something is not going the way I anticipate, I ask myself, what is the lesson. How can I improve? What can I change?
I do not look at anything as an obstacle or challenge really.
I self-funded the entire brand. That is a feat in and of itself. I worked my heart out to learn from the absolute best and then create things that change people’s lives.
So many men and women care deeply about their hair and when it starts to age faster than they are, it takes vitality out of them. It makes my heart so happy when people write in and note how the Krézinu system shaped their life.
