Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Arcas.
Hi Jose, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Jose Arcas, 46 years of age, latino Male,I started my journey with nothing but observation and hustle. I got into the sign business just by watching someone—no formal training, just learning, applying, and grinding. That turned into a 15-year run, but when the market shifted, everything slowed down. I had three kids, bills piling up, and no real safety net.
So I pivoted into sheet metal construction. I went all in—earned multiple certifications, moved up fast, and built a solid career. Things were finally stable… until COVID-19 hit. Overnight, over 100 union workers—including me—were laid off. Just like that, everything stopped.
That moment hit me hard. I wasn’t used to working for someone else, and losing it all lit a fire in me. I remember standing at a hospital job site we were working on and telling myself: “I’m coming back… but next time, I’m not building it—I’m owning it.”
That was the turning point.
I dove headfirst into real estate. I got licensed, started renting, then selling. From there, I expanded—home inspection, mold assessment and remediation, mortgage knowledge. I didn’t just learn the industry—I mastered every angle of it.
At the same time, I became obsessed with personal growth. In just 5 years, I’ve earned over 70 certifications, listened to more than 150 audiobooks, and built a personal library of over 100 books. I also embraced A.I. early and now coach realtors and entrepreneurs on how to scale using modern tools.
Today, I’m not just in real estate—I’m building, teaching, and inspiring. My mission is to show people that setbacks aren’t the end—they’re the setup for something bigger.
