Today we’d like to introduce you to Queen Attisso.
Hi Queen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’ve loved hair for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always in the salon getting my hair done, and I would sit and observe everything happening around me. That environment naturally shaped my passion for hair, creativity, and transformation.
I was born in Belgium and moved to the UK in Year 5, around the age of 9 or 10. From that moment, I began to explore my own relationship with hair more deeply. I started experimenting, learning how to manage it myself, and gradually developing my own techniques through curiosity and practice.
In secondary school, I fully immersed myself in hair styling — adding extensions, learning braids, twists, colouring, and constantly trying new styles on myself. I started a hair page in 2022 planting a seed Although I wasn’t professionally trained at the time, I was committed to learning, improving, and expressing creativity through hair.
My journey into doing hair for others began on 9th March 2025, when I completed my first client — a friend. It was a simple style, but it marked the beginning of me stepping into my passion professionally.
Alongside this, I was completing my Level 1 Hair and Beauty qualification while gaining real salon experience. I worked at Stella Benson’s salon in Rugby, where I learned the importance of professionalism, customer service, and how to ensure clients feel valued and comfortable. Balancing education and work at a young age taught me discipline, time management, and consistency.
I have also worked in salon environments in Birmingham, where I continue to develop my hands-on skills and deepen my understanding of the industry — including client building, pricing, consistency, and adapting to different client needs. As my client base grew, I also began offering mobile services, travelling to clients when needed. I continue to work flexibly between salon-based and personal client appointments depending on demand and schedule.
One of the most impactful parts of my journey so far has been working with SweatPretty, a company that provides hair services at sports and live events across the UK. Through this, I’ve worked in fast-paced environments, gained real-time experience, and secured bookings extending into 2026 — a milestone that reflects how far I’ve come.
I also had the opportunity to be part of a SweatPretty team invited to work at a London event at Apex, where I styled hair for high-profile clients, including the sister of the owner of Apex and the wife of the owner of Adidas. That experience showed me the level the industry can reach and strengthened my confidence in my ability to deliver under pressure.
Alongside this, I continue to work under mentorship in salon environments where I am guided, corrected, and encouraged to improve. I value environments where I can grow through both challenge and support, as I believe mastery comes from learning consistently over time.
My passion lies in slick hairstyles, ponytails, braids, updos, quick weaves, wig installs, and extension-based styles — anything that allows creativity, transformation, and attention to detail.
Along my journey, I also went through a difficult personal season where I had to pause, reflect, and rebuild myself. That experience strengthened my resilience, self-awareness, and sense of purpose. It shaped my mindset and the way I approach both life and my career today.
My faith and personal growth have played a key role in shaping my discipline, direction, and mindset, and continue to guide me throughout my journey.
Looking ahead, I am building my brand ReineHair with a clear and ambitious vision. I don’t just want to build something meaningful — I want to build an empire. I envision a space that feels like a home, where each level offers something different within the beauty experience, creating an environment that is both elevated and welcoming.
I plan to launch my own bundles, expand my client base, and continue developing my skills alongside further education in hair and beauty. I currently hold my Level 1 qualification and plan to progress to Level 2 and Level 3 to strengthen my foundation in the industry.
My goal is to build something long-lasting — a brand rooted in quality, creativity, consistency, and experience. I am still learning, still growing, and still building, but I am fully committed to my journey.
This is only the beginning.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Starting young, I’ve had to learn a lot not just about hair, but about discipline, consistency, and building something from the ground up.
In the early stages, one of my biggest challenges was building a steady client base, especially being based in a smaller town. There were times where clients were inconsistent, hesitant to travel, or unsure about pricing, which meant I had to adapt — offering mobile services, working across different areas, and learning how to stand firm in my value without undercharging.
I also experienced periods where business was slow, with days in the salon without clients. Those moments tested my patience and mindset, but they taught me resilience and the importance of staying consistent even when things aren’t immediately rewarding.
Alongside the business side, I went through a very difficult personal season that deeply affected me and forced me to step back and rebuild myself mentally and emotionally. Although it was one of the hardest times in my life, it strengthened me, gave me a new perspective, and reminded me why I started.
Another challenge was learning to balance growth with confidence — especially when dealing with different types of clients, expectations, and my own self-doubt at times. Over time, I’ve learned how to handle these situations with more professionalism, patience, and self-belief.
Overall, every challenge has shaped me into a stronger, more focused person. It’s taught me that success isn’t just about talent, but about resilience, consistency, and believing in what you’re building even when it’s not easy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Reinehair ?
ReineHair is more than just a hair brand to me — it’s the beginning of something much bigger. I am building a brand that focuses on quality, creativity, and confidence, while also creating an experience for every client I work with.
I specialise in slick hairstyles, ponytails, braids, updos, quick weaves, wig installs, and extension-based styles. My work is very detail-focused, and I take pride in making sure every style looks clean, polished, and long-lasting. I enjoy styles that transform a look and make someone feel more confident the moment they leave the chair.
What sets me apart is my flexibility and my approach to growth. I don’t limit myself to one environment — I work across salon spaces, mobile appointments, and large-scale events. This has allowed me to build experience quickly, adapt to different clients, and develop my skills in both calm and fast-paced settings.
I also focus strongly on the client experience. From how I communicate, to how I listen to what a client wants, I believe feeling comfortable and understood is just as important as the final hairstyle. That’s something I learned early on and continue to carry with me.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of how far I’ve come in a short amount of time. From teaching myself how to do hair, to working in salons, to being part of event teams across the UK — every step has contributed to building ReineHair into what it is becoming.
Looking ahead, I am preparing to launch ReineHair bundles, with a focus on high-quality hair that complements the styles I create. My long-term vision is to build ReineHair into an empire — not just a service, but a full experience. I envision a space that feels like a home, where each level offers something different within beauty, bringing together creativity, comfort, and luxury.
I want people to see ReineHair as a brand that is growing, evolving, and built with intention. I am still at the beginning of my journey, but everything I do now is laying the foundation for something much bigger.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is seeing the impact of what I do on other people. There’s something really special about watching someone look at themselves after getting their hair done and seeing their whole energy change. That moment of confidence, where they feel more like themselves or even a better version of themselves, means a lot to me.
I also find happiness in growth — both personally and professionally. Being able to look back and see how far I’ve come, especially through challenges, reminds me that everything I’m doing has purpose. Even the small wins feel meaningful to me.
Creating and expressing myself through hair is another thing that genuinely brings me peace. It allows me to focus, be present, and turn an idea into something real. That process alone makes me happy.
My faith is also a big part of my happiness. It gives me direction, keeps me grounded, and reminds me that everything I’m working towards has a deeper purpose.
Overall, what makes me happy is knowing that I’m building something meaningful, growing into who I’m meant to be, and using what I love to impact others in a positive way.
