Today we’d like to introduce you to Noemi Vasconcellos.
Hi Noemi, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I moved to the United States from Hungary 10 years ago, and like many immigrants, I’ve walked just about every path to build a life for myself. Those early years shaped me—they taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to keep going no matter what.
I’ve always been deeply connected to water and nature, so I pursued that passion by becoming certified in scuba diving, freediving, lifeguarding, and as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Working as a swim instructor was something I truly loved—it never felt like a job, but a way to share something that brings me peace and joy.
At the same time, I explored a completely different world—Miami nightlife. I worked as a model and professional dancer with one of the biggest entertainment companies, performing alongside artists like 50 Cent, Jeezy, Nelly, and others. It was an exciting season of life, full of energy and opportunity.
But everything shifted when I became a mom.
Motherhood changed my priorities, my perspective, and my purpose. My son is now 6 years old, and I’m currently expecting my baby girl any day now. That transformation led me to step away from nightlife and fully embrace being present for my family.
From there, I created “Nurturing Mommy,” where I began sharing my journey and connecting with other women. I dove into digital and affiliate marketing and built a platform centered around what matters most to me—faith, health, family, and intentional living.
Today, I’m a content creator focused on helping moms find balance in motherhood, inspiring them daily through homeschooling, healthy lifestyle choices, and staying spiritually grounded. My mission is to uplift, support, and remind women that they can create a beautiful, meaningful life—no matter where they start.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Definitely not—it has been far from a smooth road.
I went through one of the darkest seasons of my life when I divorced my son’s father. At that time, I felt completely lost. I was financially broken, physically unwell, and emotionally exhausted. There were moments where I honestly didn’t see a way forward.
But that season also became a turning point in my life. My faith is what held me together when everything else fell apart. In my lowest place, I grew closer to God than ever before, and slowly I began to heal—emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
Over time, my life was completely restored. I was blessed with a loving new husband, a renewed sense of purpose, and now the joy of expecting our baby girl.
That experience is the reason I do what I do today. I help moms because I’ve been there—broken, overwhelmed, and scared—but I also know there is a way out. There is hope, healing, and love on the other side, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I currently work as a swim instructor while also building my online presence as a content creator and developing digital courses centered around motherhood, lifestyle, and personal growth.
My specialty is creating authentic, real-life content that reflects the true journey of motherhood, wellness, and faith. I focus on sharing honest moments from my everyday life—both the beautiful and the challenging—so that other moms can feel seen, understood, and less alone.
What I’m most known for is my authenticity. In a world where social media often feels curated, unrealistic, and sometimes overwhelming—especially for young mothers—I make it a priority to stay grounded in truth and alignment with my values. I don’t aim for perfection; I aim for connection.
What I’m most proud of is the growing community of moms I’m building. A space where women can support each other, share openly, and feel encouraged rather than judged.
What sets me apart is that everything I share comes from lived experience. I’m not just creating content—I’m sharing a real journey of healing, motherhood, faith, and rebuilding life from the ground up, while helping others feel empowered to do the same.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
My whole life in the United States started with a major risk. I left everything I knew behind in Hungary and moved to a country where I didn’t fully speak the language. At the time, my English was very basic, and I had to learn everything from the ground up while adapting to an entirely new culture and way of life.
Looking back, that decision shaped everything I am today. It taught me independence, resilience, and how to grow through discomfort.
I do believe in risk-taking, especially the kind that leads to growth. Every meaningful step in my life has required some level of risk—whether it was starting over in a new country, stepping into unfamiliar careers, or completely changing my life path after becoming a mother.
To me, risk isn’t about being reckless—it’s about trusting yourself enough to step into the unknown, even when it feels uncomfortable or uncertain. Without risk, there’s no real growth, no new opportunities, and no transformation.
